Coach Kyle Jeter
Kyle has been coaching baseball for the past 8 years. He began his involvement with the West Hartford Youth Baseball League (WHYBL) as a 10-year-old on the Knights of Columbus in 2008. After his three-year career, Kyle became an assistant coach for K of C in 2013 at age 15. He now manages that team in addition to running the WHYBL Travel program. During the past several summers and falls, Kyle has held various positions as a manager and as an assistant coach in both the WHYBL and the Pete Kokinis Baseball League. In addition, he has run various clinics at WHYBL’s indoor facility during the winters and has been offering private instruction for the last several years.
Kyle recently completed his MBA at Quinnipiac University and currently works full-time at Travelers. He graduated from Hall High School in 2015 and completed his undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis in 2018 where he pitched on their club baseball team.
One-on-one or very small group instruction is available for pitching, catching, hitting and fielding. All sessions will be conducted with masks and following all COVID-19 safety protocols. For booking and more information please contact Kyle at

Catcher's Clinic
On Saturday, January 22nd, WHYBL will hold our 4th annual Catchers For a Cause clinic with Ray Fagnant from Team USA and the Boston Red Sox! Aspiring catchers should attend to learn more about how to properly play the catcher position. All proceeds from this event will benefit our friends at Connecticut Foodshare. WHO: For WHYBL 10-12 year old catchers (age as of 4/30/22)

Ray Fagnant Profile:
•35 years in professional baseball. Currently Boston Red Sox Northeast Regional Scouting Supervisor.
•Originally signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates and was a catcher in their system for 2 years. Went on to catch three more years in the Boston Red Sox farm system.
• In addition to scouting and assisting in player development for the Red Sox, Ray has served on the coaching staff at four different World Baseball Classic Tournaments and was the bullpen catcher for the US National Team and manager Jim Leyland.
