Coach Kyle Jeter

Kyle has been coaching baseball for the past 8 years. He began his involvement with the West Hartford Youth Baseball League (WHYBL) as a 10-year-old on the Knights of Columbus in 2008. After his three-year career, Kyle became an assistant coach for K of C in 2013 at age 15. He now manages that team in addition to running the WHYBL Travel program. During the past several summers and falls, Kyle has held various positions as a manager and as an assistant coach in both the WHYBL and the Pete Kokinis Baseball League. In addition, he has run various clinics at WHYBL’s indoor facility during the winters and has been offering private instruction for the last several years.

Kyle recently completed his MBA at Quinnipiac University and currently works full-time at Travelers. He graduated from Hall High School in 2015 and completed his undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis in 2018 where he pitched on their club baseball team.

One-on-one or very small group instruction is available for pitching, catching, hitting and fielding. All sessions will be conducted with masks and following all COVID-19 safety protocols. For booking and more information please contact Kyle at or 860-692-8404.

Coach Karel

Coach Karel is a former Cuban professional ballplayer, a member of Cuban's national team and a three-time champion. Coach Karel also received a college degree in a six-year course to prepare him for coaching, including baseball skills, physical training and mental skills. After his playing career, Coach Karel became an academy coach for some of Cuba's top teenage players. Since 2016, Coach Karel has been part of TCC's Cuba program including as head coach for both the Cuban and American teams and has coached and trained in West Hartford for WHABA and Post 96 American Legion.

Personal lessons with Coach Karel can be one-one or in small groups with a focus on hitting indoors with fielding and throwing available subject to space. All practices will be conducted with masks and following all COVID-19 safety protocols.
